Chris and Alison Evan have been dancing together since 1998. Originally from California, they moved up here to the Seattle area on impulse and have been living and dancing in the Pacific Northwest ever since.

The style of dancing they enjoy teaching and performing the most is Lindy Hop and Swing. They also love performance Swing dancing, teaching many styles from Swing to Shag to Charleston ... and of course preparing couples for their Wedding Dance.

In 2004 they placed 2nd at the Pacific Northwest Lindy Hop Championships in both Showcase and Team division. After 2 years of success with their team the Eastside Alley Cats, Chris and Alison have now formed a Professional Performance Team called the Eastside Swing Cats- This team is made up of some of the BEST dancers in the Northwest. We are also excited to have another division called "Teen Canteen"; modeled after the Kirkland 1940's local hangout of the same name. This group of Teen Professional Dancers exude the fun and energy of the Original Swing Dancers with every Performance.
